Why are you Nominating this Mom:

       "Amy is being nominated for having the skills and patience to keep our family of four together and sane during a VERY difficult period of time for us.  In January, I was in the hospital for three weeks undergoing, and recovering from, two brain surgeries.  We have two young daughters, aged 2 1/2 and 13 months to whom Amy is a stay at home mom.  That is challenging as it is, but with me in the hospital, my wife had absolutely zero help. 

       She didn't have me around in the evenings to assist with dinner, the girls' bedtimes, etc.  She did everything our two young girls require, 24/7, and STILL managed to visit me every day in the hospital, which was over 30 miles away. 

      She is truly an extraordinary mother under the most ordinary of conditions, but seeing how she reacted to an extremely difficult and taxing situation was just awesome.  She WAS stressed - her body let her know this by giving her a rough case of shingles, but Amy didn't let me or, more importantly, the kids know her level of stress.  I can't say enough how great a mother she is. 

      Lastly, I'd like to mention just how deserving she is of something nice for JUST HERSELF.  Since Amy's always putting the kids first, she never even thinks about buying herself anything.  She is seriously deserving of this."- Gregory Anderson

A Few Fun Facts as stated by Amy's husband, Gregory:

Amy's Birthday is November 26.

Amy's favorite type of music is "80's music.

Amy's favorite music group is New Kids on The Block ("Haha" says Gregory)

Amy loves working out, particularly kickboxing and because of it she's fitting in clothes from college again!

Amy loves (what I consider) "terrible television" - stuff like Project Runway and all those fashion shows.

Amy is very eco friendly and is totally into the cloth diapering movement.

Also on a side note.. Amy's husband, Gregory, underwent one more brain surgery on March 11.  So Amy was called on yet again to keep the Anderson family of four afloat while Gregory was in the hospital recovering.
